At Brilanc, we respect your privacy and your right to control your data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our platform, including data associated with your Meta (Facebook) account integration.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through the following methods:
- Through Your Account Settings: Log in to your Brilanc account, navigate to Settings → Account, and click "Delete Account". This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
- Email Request: Send an email to support@brilanc.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your account email address.
- Meta Integration Data: If you connected your Meta (Facebook) account, you can disconnect it from Settings → Integrations, which will delete all Meta-related data from our platform.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will remove:
- Your account information (name, email, profile data)
- Your workspace data and settings
- Meta Business Manager and Ad Account connections
- Access tokens and authentication credentials
- Any cached or stored advertising data from Meta
- Usage logs and analytics data associated with your account
Data Deletion Timeline
Once you submit a deletion request:
- Your account will be immediately deactivated
- Most data will be deleted within 48 hours
- Some data may be retained in backups for up to 30 days for security and legal compliance
- You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
Data We May Retain
For legal, security, and business purposes, we may retain certain information:
- Transaction records for accounting and tax purposes (as required by law)
- Records of communications for legal compliance
- Anonymized usage data for analytics (with all personal identifiers removed)
Meta (Facebook) Data Deletion
If you connected your Meta account to Brilanc and want to delete that data:
- The data deletion process will automatically remove all Meta-related data from our platform
- To revoke Brilanc's access to your Meta account, visit your Facebook Business Integrations settings
- We will send a confirmation code to Meta to verify the deletion request
